Information we collect

Yumo Business is a restaurant management application for authorized business users. Accounts are created or provisioned by the YumoEats platform; the app does not offer public account registration.

We may collect account and business contact information, restaurant settings, order-management activity, customer support messages, device and push-notification identifiers, IP address, app interactions, and diagnostic information.

The app displays customer order information, which may include a customer's name, phone number, delivery address, order details, and messages, solely so the authorized restaurant can fulfill and support that order.

When network-printer features are used, the app accesses the local network to discover and communicate with printers. Printer discovery information is used to provide the printing feature.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate authorized users, operate restaurant and menu management, receive and process orders, send notifications, support customer communication, provide printing, maintain security, diagnose failures, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information and Yumo Business does not display third-party advertising.

Service providers and disclosures

Information may be processed by service providers that support hosting, storage, analytics, push notifications, communications, payments, and delivery fulfillment. Depending on the enabled restaurant features, these providers may include Amazon Web Services, Google services including Firebase and Google Analytics, Stripe, Twilio, Phaxio, and DoorDash.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Data security and retention

We use HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls, authentication, and operational safeguards designed to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security.

We retain information only as long as needed for service operation, security, dispute resolution, tax and accounting requirements, and other legal obligations. Some order or transaction records may need to be retained after an account is closed.

Your choices and deletion

You can disable notifications through Android settings. Restaurant administrators can update business and notification settings in the app.

To request deletion of a Yumo Business account and associated personal data, use our account deletion page. We may need to verify the requester and the restaurant's ownership or authorization before processing the request.

Children

Yumo Business is intended for authorized restaurant personnel aged 18 or older and is not directed to children.
