# Yumo Eats AI connector

Find participating Yumo Eats restaurants by name, read current menus, and prepare a cart draft for review on the Yumo Eats website.

## Connect in Claude

In Claude, open Customize > Connectors, choose Add custom connector, and enter:

- Name: Yumo Eats
- Server URL: https://yumoeats.com/mcp
- Authentication: No sign-in required

Availability of custom connectors depends on your Claude account and organization settings. A custom connection does not mean the connector is listed in the public directory.

The connector serves public information and needs no Yumo account or API key. Do not enter a password, payment details, address, or phone number into its tool arguments.

## What you can ask

- "Use Yumo Eats to find restaurants matching Orion Poke."
- "Show the current menu for a restaurant returned by Yumo Eats."
- "Prepare one available menu item with its required options for review on the Yumo Eats website."

Restaurant availability and menu selections can change with opening hours, stock, and whether the restaurant is accepting orders. If a restaurant is unavailable, choose a currently returned restaurant instead. Use IDs and options from the current menu.

## Tools and checkout

- `search_restaurants`: search participating, currently eligible restaurants by name. An empty query lists eligible restaurants. `offset` advances through eligible results, in pages of up to 50.
- `get_menu`: read available items, USD prices, and option groups for a restaurant returned by search.
- `prepare_cart`: validate menu item IDs, quantities, and options, then return an estimated subtotal and website checkout link.

Cart links expire after ten minutes. If a link expires, request a fresh draft. The draft creates no order, reservation, or payment. On yumoeats.com, review the current menu, fulfillment availability, final prices, taxes, fees, tips, and payment options before confirming any purchase. A draft may be below a restaurant's minimum order; website checkout determines whether a purchase can proceed.

These tools cannot access your Yumo account, saved address, order history, payment methods, or delivery tracking. Do not ask them to place an order or charge a card. Menu descriptions are restaurant-provided information; confirm allergy or dietary requirements directly with the restaurant.

## Data and support

Tool requests contain restaurant searches, public restaurant or menu IDs, quantities, and menu-option selections. A cart handoff contains encrypted selections in a short-lived URL. Opening the handoff uses the website's normal checkout and privacy practices. Your AI provider's privacy terms also apply to conversations with that provider.
